Mediq UK Announces 2045 Net Zero Target

Mediq is a global business which recognises the urgent need to address climate change and is dedicated to playing its part in reducing its impact. Mediq has therefore committed to a new ESG strategy focussing on products, services, operations, and our people, and has chosen Mediq UK as the first country to pilot a Greenhouse Gas (GHG) assessment and Carbon Reduction Plan (CRP), with the rest of the global group now under assessment. 

As a healthcare business, Mediq UK’s Carbon Reduction Plan makes sure that Mediq UK can fulfil customer expectations and represents that important first step towards reaching our ambition to be Net Zero by 2045. 

With net zero targets and reducing emissions becoming a top priority across the globe, 2024 will see the implementation of the operations pillar of the ESG strategy as we take significant steps to reduce energy consumption, increase energy efficiency, and promote sustainable practices across our entire UK operations for a more sustainable future.
