High-quality Sterile X-Ray Detectable Swabs designed to meet the strictest safety and performance standards in theatre. Made from soft, absorbent cotton gauze with securely attached detectable strips, they ensure maximum visibility and patient protection during surgical procedures.

X-Ray Detectability

60–62% barium sulphate content – higher than EU standard for superior visibility on all x-ray devices

Heat- and pressure-bonded detectable strips – securely fixed throughout gauze for consistent adherence

Metal detection tested during manufacture for enhanced safety

Cotton Gauze

100% soft, absorbent cotton gauze for effective fluid management

Consistent quality and absorbency across all sizes and plys
Manufactured to BP/EN 14079 standard

Taped Swabs

Strong attachment with 5 cm tape end embedded into the swab

Tape positioned externally for faster counting and reduced handling

Presentation & Sterility

Red tie cord ensures easy removal from bundles of 5

Double-wrapped for aseptic opening and contamination control

Large-lip peel pouches for easy sterile presentation
