Gentle, Conformable and Comfortable

Klinion® Kliniderm® Foam Silicone Lite Border is an absorbent polyurethane foam dressing with a soft silicone wound contact layer. This contact layer protects the surrounding skin and reduces pain during dressing changes¹. The absorbent foam layer manages exudate while allowing partial evaporation, increasing total absorption capacity¹. The silicone border dressing supports moist wound healing¹.

  • Indications

    Klinion® Kliniderm® Foam Silicone Lite Border Dressings are indicated for low exuding acute and chronic wounds such as:
  • Pressure ulcers¹
  • Diabetic foot ulcers¹
  • Leg ulcers¹
  • Post-operative wounds¹
  • Oncology wounds¹
  • Skin abrasions¹
  • Superficial and partial thickness burns¹
  • Donor sites¹
  • Traumatic wounds¹
  • Skin tears¹
  • Applying Klinion® Kliniderm® Foam Silicone Lite Border Dressings

    1. Clean the wound area according to local protocols and ensure the peri-wound skin is dry¹.
    2. Select a suitable size so the dressing overlaps the wound margins by at least 1.5 cm¹.
    3. Apply directly onto the wound site with the white hydrophilic side against the wound surface¹.
    4. Secure with an appropriate secondary dressing, such as bandage or tape¹.
    To remove: Gently peel back the dressing until completely removed¹.
