Klinion® Kliniderm® Foam Silicone Border is an absorbent polyurethane foam dressing with a soft silicone wound contact layer. This wound contact layer protects the surrounding skin and reduces pain during dressing changes. The absorbent foam layer absorbs and retains exudate. In addition, wound exudate partly evaporates through the dressing, increasing the total absorption capacity. The silicone dressing supports moist wound treatment.

Klinion® Kliniderm® Foam Silicone Border Dressings are indicated for low to moderately exuding chronic and acute wounds and may be used throughout the healing process on the following wounds:

1. Clean the wound area according to local protocols. Ensure the peri-wound skin is dry

2. Select a suitable size so that the dressing overlaps the wound margins by at least 1.5cm

3. Gently apply directly onto the wound site with the white hydrophilic side of the dressing onto the wound surface

4. Secure with an appropriate secondary dressing, such as bandage or tape

To remove: gently peel back the dressing until its completely removed from the wound.
